Why Snizz

Experience you can feel. A process that stays simple.

You shouldn't need to be a tuner to get a great tune. We bring the platform know-how and keep every step straightforward, from picking a stage to your first pull.

Experience

VR30 is all we do.

We've spent our time inside this platform: its twin turbos, its fueling, its quirks. Knowing the car this well means fewer revisions, safer maps, and a car that feels right from the first flash.

See Packages
Which cars do you tune?

VR30DDTT tuning is our focus: the Infiniti Q50 and Q60 (Red Sport 400 and 3.0t, AWD or RWD) and the Nissan Z. We also tune the Infiniti G35 (VQ35HR), G37, 3.7L Q50 / Q60 and Nissan 370Z, offer RE7R transmission tunes, and sell turbo kits for the Nissan 370Z, Infiniti G35 and G37.

Do I need an EcuTek license?

Yes, every tune runs on EcuTek. If your car doesn't have a license yet, add one at checkout for $325. The optional phone flash license ($125) lets you load your tune and revisions from your phone.

What's included in every package?

A custom EcuTek calibration built for your mod list, a full datalog review, and a written tune summary. Stage 02 adds an in-shop dyno session; Stage 03 adds a custom fuel and boost strategy.

How do revisions work?

Revision support lasts a full 30 days, not just a one-time check when your tune is done. Throughout that window, send datalogs as you drive and we'll refine the map based on how your car actually behaves. Revision support is conditional; see the tuning disclaimer at checkout for details.

Can I add burbles, launch control or traction control?

Yes. The Track Package adds all three. It's $575 on its own, or $450 when you add it to a stage tune.

Will it affect my warranty or street legality?

Modifying your ECU may void some or all of your manufacturer's warranty, and tunes are intended for off-road and competition use. You'll review the full disclaimer before checkout.

How does payment work?

You pay online through a secure Square checkout and get an order number right away. Pay in full by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Cash App Pay, or split eligible orders into 4 interest-free payments every two weeks with Afterpay (subject to approval). Tuning services are non-refundable once calibration work has started, and licenses are non-refundable once purchased.

How does VR30 launch control work?

Hold the brake and the throttle, and the ECU holds a set RPM and builds boost before you leave. Let off the brake and the power comes in clean, without bogging or a burst of wheelspin. Launch control is part of the Track Package. See how it works ↓

What's the VR30 oil pressure solenoid issue?

The oil pressure solenoid lowers oil pressure at low engine speeds to cut drag for a small fuel economy gain (about 1–2%), and it's a known weak point on the VR30. When it fails, oil pressure can drop fast and damage the engine with no warning light. We're releasing a block-off plate that removes this failure point, coming soon. Learn more ↓

Why run a catch can on a VR30?

The PCV system pushes oil vapor back into the intake, and because the VR30 is direct injection, there's no port fuel to wash it off the valves, so carbon builds up. A catch can traps that oil and moisture before it reaches your intake. The Tracey Lewis plug & play catch can is available now for $625. Learn more ↓

Why run flex fuel on a VR30?

Ethanol resists knock better than pump gas, so your tune can run more timing and boost, and it cools the intake charge on the hot twin-turbo VR30. A flex fuel sensor reads your ethanol content so the tune adjusts on the fly, whether you fill up with pump gas or E85. Our VR30 flex fuel setup is coming soon. Learn more ↓

Can I finance my tune?

Yes. Choose Afterpay on the checkout page to split your order into 4 interest-free payments every two weeks, with the first one due at checkout. Approval and the eligible order amount are decided by Afterpay. Your tune is scheduled as soon as the order goes through.

The oil pressure solenoid: block it off.

A known VR30DDTT weak point, and the fix we're about to release.

  1. 01 · What it does

    Saves a little fuel

The solenoid lowers oil pressure at low engine speeds to reduce drag, all for about 1–2% better fuel economy. On the VR30, it's a known weak point.

    • Lowers oil pressureAt low engine speeds
    • Fuel economyOnly about 1–2% better
    • Common weak pointKnown VR30 issue
  2. 02 · The real risk

    Out of the blue

When this solenoid fails, it usually takes the engine with it. Oil pressure drops, and it can blow the motor with no warning light, no rattle, nothing.

    • Fails without warningNo check engine light needed
    • Oil pressure dropsFast, not gradual
    • Engine damageUsually catastrophic
  3. 03 · Our fix

    Block it off

Our aftermarket block-off plate removes this failure point on the VR30DDTT.

Why run a catch can? Available now

VR30 catch can: protect it.

Keep oil vapor out of your intake on a direct injection VR30DDTT.

  1. 01 · The problem

    Blow-by builds up

The PCV system pushes oil vapor back into the intake. On a direct injection VR30, there's no port fuel to wash it off the valves.

    • Oil vaporFrom the crankcase vents
    • Carbon buildupCakes onto intake valves
    • Direct injectionNo natural cleaning
  2. 02 · The fix

    Catch it clean

VR30 flex fuel: flex anytime.

Run pump gas or E85, and let your tune adjust on the fly.

  1. 01 · Knock resistance

Ethanol resists knock better than pump gas, so your tune can run more aggressive timing and boost.

    • Higher octaneResists knock
    • More timing + boostBigger tune potential
    • Safer marginWhen you push it
  2. 02 · Charge cooling

    Cooler charge

Ethanol cools the intake charge as it burns, helping tame heat on a hot twin-turbo VR30.
